Vertex is the digital backbone that puts an entire municipality on a single map. Cemeteries, streetlights, parcels, addresses, zoning history, every record the city owns, in one place, live, and ready to act on.

Built by Kodeas for Lefkoşa Türk Belediyesi and rolling out across KKTC, Vertex replaces decades of binders, isolated spreadsheets and walk-in counter requests with a modular platform that management, field crews and citizens all use from the same source of truth. One database. Three audiences. Zero duplication.

Execution

Vertex puts the whole city in one place, for the people who run it, the crews out in the field, and the citizens they serve. It began as a cemetery information system that ran for 8 years in Lefkoşa, serving 60,000 citizens in daily use, then grew to cover field assets, addresses and parcels, and decades of zoning history, every record on the same living map.

A municipality switches it on one module at a time and watches its records come to life. No GIS expertise required, anywhere in the chain. The biggest wins:

  • A citizen portal families actually use. Find a loved one's grave with step-by-step walking directions, no phone calls, no queues at the counter.

Project results

The core Vertex is built on ran, live and trusted, for 8 years in Lefkoşa, from 2018 to 2026, serving 60,000 citizens and managing 26,793 cemetery plots. Vertex is the next-generation rebuild of that proven system, and Kodeas is now bringing it to other KKTC municipalities, starting with the module each city needs most and growing one module at a time.
